ENT 302 – Topics in Entrepreneurship: Game On: Developing Your Entrepreneurial Character (3 credit hours)
Seminar and/or lecture courses in select topics related to entrepreneurship. May be repeated if course title differs.
Keen to develop your entrepreneurial character and learn how to turn ideas into action through play? This dynamic and hands-on course is all about developing your entrepreneurial character potential through practice and reflection. In practice, we’ll explore entrepreneurial character strengths through the lens of (a) your favorite games—board, video, or any other kind—and (b) tackling regular entrepreneurial character challenges to put your strengths to the test. In reflection, you’ll deepen your understanding of your own character strengths and work to develop them from challenge to challenge. To keep turning ideas into action, your capstone project will be a prototype of a game designed to teach or cultivate entrepreneurial character, incorporating both general and personal insights. Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, a gamer, or simply keen to unlock your character potential, this course will help you level up your drive, courage, accountability, and humanity. Game on!
